When you think of fishing TV shows, you probably think of people chasing bass in the lakes of Georgia or salmon in Alaska.

But a show on the Discovery Channel this month focuses largely on New Jersey fishing and the colorful cast of characters out there on the water. "Saltwater Underground" airs Saturdays at 5:30 a.m. on the Discovery Channel, with back episodes galore available on YouTube.

News 12's Brian Donohue spent the morning on the beach with the host Nick Honachefsky who caught a few fish while Brian gave up and went surfing.
