Faculty at Port Washington School District used music to inspire the next generation.
Superintendent Dr. Michael Hynes broke into song after his speech to the Paul D. Schreiber High School Class of 2023.
The Tom Petty rendition of ‘Learning to Fly’ was performed by a group of staff from Port Washington.
The band included Schreiber principal Dr. Behr on violin and music teachers, Tony Pinelli on guitar and Amanda Johnson and Carly Clancy lending their vocal talents.
