A Port Jefferson Station man is dead after a tragic accident in his backyard.Police say 28-year-old Elias Fasolas was crushed to death as he was clearing trees Sunday. They say he was operating a Bobcat when a tree went through the cab of the vehicle. He was discovered by his mother. Responders tried to save Fasolas, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Fasolas was the owner of a local Greek restaurant. Police are investigating the death, but say it does not appear suspicious and looks to be a tragic accident.
