Officials say Port Authority-run airports, including John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia, are still seeing a major drop in travel.

According to officials, airports had 73% fewer passengers in January compared to the same month in 2019.

The Port Authority blames the pandemic and estimates a loss of $3 billion over the past year.
