Police: 6 injured in NICE bus crash near Nassau Coliseum

Police say six people were hurt after a NICE bus was involved in a crash in front of the Nassau Coliseum Friday afternoon.
Police say the accident occurred around 3 p.m. on Hempstead Turnpike and Earl Overington Boulevard. Nice officials say the Route N70 bus was struck from behind by a passenger vehicle while at a stop.
NICE officials say there were approximately 30 people on the bus.
Neither the bus driver or the driver of the other vehicle were injured, according to police. NICE officials had said earlier that 10 people were taken to the hospital after the crash.
