Police responded to a robbery at the Carvel ice cream store on Horseblock Road in Farmingville Friday night.
Officials confirmed that a woman with a knife went into the shop just before 10 p.m.
News 12 is told she demanded money and took off with an unknown amount of cash. She is still on the run.
No one in the store was hurt.
