A woman drove her car over a Nesconset family’s front lawn before hitting a car parked in the driveway.
In video obtained by News 12, you can see the car jump the curb, before driving through the grass and striking a car. The driver attempts to notify the family, ringing the doorbell. She’s seen on Ring camera video apologizing before driving away, leaving no contact information.
Speaking exclusively with News 12, the family tells us there’s about $1,000 worth of damage to the car, but they’re more concerned about getting a potentially dangerous driver off the streets.
Suffolk police say they are investigating but have not made any arrests. They ask anyone with any information to contact them.
