Police say a woman was shot in Marble Hill on Wednesday night.

According to police, they received a call of shots being fired on West 230 Street around 10 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old woman with a gunshot to her leg.

The woman was treated for her injuries at the hospital.

The shooter is described by police as a man in his 30s wearing a green jacket and peach colored pants.
