Police say an out-of-control car plowed into two homes in West Babylon Friday.

They say the accidents happened on Gordon Avenue. Police say a woman was backing her car into her friend's driveway when her brakes failed, and she crashed into the garage.

Then, they say when she put the car back in drive, her brakes failed again and she drove into a second house.

The 55-year-old was taken to the hospital to be evaluated. No other injuries were reported.
