Police say a Uniondale woman has been charged in a crash that left another driver dead and three passengers injured early Saturday morning in Hempstead.

3h agoPolice say a Uniondale woman has been charged in a crash that left another driver dead and three passengers injured early Saturday morning in Hempstead.
Police say security camera video caught a glimpse of a blue car that was driven by 27-year-old Tasha Brown around 4:30 a.m. on Front Street.
Detectives say Brown’s car hit a parked car with a 29-year-old Massapequa man inside. They say the man later died at the hospital.
Officers say three other people in Brown's car were injured.
Brown is charged with manslaughter, assault and DWI.
Neighbors in the area say there have been lots of accidents on the street.
“I would recommend the town to just place a light down here,” says Melvin Aldana.
A teddy bear and some candles were placed at the accident site for the driver who was killed.
Police say Brown will be arraigned at a later date.
