Police say a teen has been shot in Bellport.

The incident happened at the intersection of Patchogue and Michigan Avenues around 8 p.m. Monday. Police say they were alerted by Shot Spotter technology.

According to police, they found shell casings in the road. Shortly after, police say Donte Harrell, 19, walked into Brookhaven Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right hand.
