Police say a teenage boy exposed himself to a teen girl Monday evening in the middle of a Massapequa street.
A 16-year-old girl was walking on North Richmond Avenue when another teen approached her and exposed himself, according to police. The girl then ran home and called the police.
Earlier this month, News 12 reported five separate incidents where a man allegedly used candy in an attempt to lure several young girls into his van in Lakeview and Valley Stream. Lisa Comuneillo, of Massapequa, says these incidents serve as a reminder that parents must warn their children of stranger danger.
"Another reason to teach them that you have to be very careful of strangers," Comuneillo said. "Unfortunately, this is the world that we live in."
Police describe the teen suspect as white with a thin build. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
