A suspect is wanted for fatally hitting a man with his vehicle and leaving the scene Sunday in Farmingdale.
Detectives say they were called to Merritts Road early in the morning. Upon arrival, they found a man lying in the roadway with a head injury.
A driver in a short-bed silver or gray pickup truck had hit the victim and sped off, according to authorities.
Police say the victim was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead.
