Shots were
fired on a residential street in Uniondale Wednesday, police say.
Investigators
say it happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Northgate Drive.
Neighbors
tell News 12 there were 12 to 15 shots in rapid succession.
One
witness tells News 12 the bullets struck a house and a vehicle, but police have
not confirmed that information.
A large
police presence was seen in the area as officers went door to door asking to
speak with anyone who saw something.
There
were no reported injuries and no word on if any arrests were made.
