A 16-year-old girl was killed Sunday night after a fiery crash in Holtsville.Police say Amy Bartolotta, of Selden, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Michael Ilvento, of Centereach. According to police, Ilvento lost control of the SUV and it overturned, ejecting Bartolotta. Officials say the vehicle then caught fire.Bartolotta, Ilvento and 17-year-old Anthony Messier, another passenger in the vehicle, were taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, where Bartolotta was pronounced dead. Messier and Ilvento are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Ilvento has been charged with driving while intoxicated, but officials say the charge could be upgraded.
