Suffolk police seized fireworks from a North Babylon home Friday night. Police say they seized about 200 boxes of fireworks from a home on Monarch Avenue. Some of the fireworks confiscated are class B, the kind used by professionals. Cops say they received a call from neighbors concerned that fireworks were being sold. With the number of boxes found officials say if anything had gone wrong, the house and others on the block could have been badly damaged. Cathy Shide and Diana Stamm say they were surprised by all the police activity at their neighbor?s house. They say their neighbor always has a Fourth of July party with fireworks. In addition to the fireworks, police seized what they describe as a ?sophisticated surveillance system.?
