Police seeking driver in fatal Brentwood hit-and-run

UPDATE 11/13/17: Police say they are looking for a 1998-2002 red, burgundy or maroon Toyota Corolla in connection to the incident.
A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Brentwood early Sunday morning, and a search is now underway for the driver.
Police say 26-year-old Luis Felix Gomez-Cuji was crossing Suffolk Avenue near Eastern Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene.
Gomez-Cuji, of Bay Shore, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the vehicle was a red- or burgundy-colored sedan. The car may have damage to its driver's side.
