Police are looking for the person responsible for a vicious attack on Main Street in Riverhead.
Officials say they found a Hispanic man on West Main Street Monday afternoon with a laceration to the back of his head.
They say there were reports that the victim may also have been robbed, but there was no evidence of the robbery.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Riverhead police at 631-727-4500.
