Nassau police set up a mobile command unit Monday on a Uniondale street where a man was fatally shot Sunday.Officials say the incident occurred early Sunday morning at a college sendoff party at a Spring Avenue home. Witnesses claim that the shooter opened fire into a crowd of more than 100 people, sending partygoers fleeing.Police have identified the victim as Samuel Brown, 21, of Hempstead.
Neighbors are shocked over the shooting in the normally quiet area, which isn't far from a church.
