Police are searching for the driver in a hit-and-run crash in Coram Wednesday.
They say a woman was hit as she walked near Middle Country Road and County Road 83 in Coram just before 7 p.m.
Authorities say that the driver took off.
The unidentified woman was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
