Police say they've arrested a pair of burglars who allegedly broke into a dozen Suffolk homes.

Authorities say Richard Neumann and Jessica King have been arrested and charged with burglarizing homes in four different communities. They say Neumann and King burglarized 12 homes in Sayville, Medford, Patchogue and East Patchogue over a five-month span.

Stolen items include jewelry, computers, televisions and cash.

Neumann, who is accused of starting the burglary spree back in February, was charged with 12 counts of burglary.

In July, police say King participated by driving the getaway car in seven of the burglaries.

Police say their crime spree ended when a witness saw their car leaving the scene of a burglary, and authorities were able to trace that car back to King.
