Officials have released officer body camera video showing the incident that led to a police officer fatally shooting a man in East Flatbush.

Body camera footage shows the moments 28-year-old Royston Bacchus Jr. was approached by police, following a domestic dispute call on Oct. 5.

Police say they were called to a home on East 86th Street, where a woman claimed she was being harassed by a man she knew and planned to get a restraining order.

That man was identified as Bacchus Jr., who police caught up with a few blocks away.

In the video, police are seen chasing him down. Officers can be heard shouting at him to drop the gun he held in his hands.

When he did not drop the weapon, an officer fired one shot.

Bacchus Jr. was pronounced dead at the hospital.
