New video has been released of a man wanted for several knifepoint robberies in Nassau County.
According to police, the man in the video robbed at least nine stores in Nassau -- the most recent being a Carvel ice cream shop on Dutch Broadway in Valley Stream Tuesday night.
The Carvel worker says she went to the cash register, gave the man what she could and he fled down the street.
Police say they believe the suspect is the same man seen in surveillance video from outside a New Hyde Park Dunkin' Donuts, which was robbed March 1. The footage shows the suspect walking into the store, and immediately after, it was robbed.
In each robbery, police say he shows a knife, demands money and takes off. Detectives say the Carvel incident is the ninth in Nassau within six weeks. The majority of locations were Dunkin' Donuts stretching from Oceanside to Plainview.
Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
