Police say that an East Meadow doctor's car has been recovered after thieves stole it from outside of his medical office last week.
Officials say that surveillance video shows a man walking into Doctor John Zaso's office and taking his car keys before driving away in the vehicle. Zaso's car is a state-certified emergency vehicle with lights and sirens.
Police say the car was found last night in Uniondale.
Zaso's wife tells News 12 Long Island that the car was intact, but some life support equipment and a defibrillator inside are missing. Police say no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
