Police seized a cache of drugs, weapons and cash in a massive drug bust at a Coram home Wednesday.
Authorities say they seized close to 350 grams of heroin from Keith Davies house on Beach Lane. One dose they say is typically about .2 grams.
"You're potentially taking about thousands of doses," says Suffolk Police Commissioner Tim Sini.
Police say they also found marijuana, about $15,000 in cash, an assault rifle and handguns. They say Davies is a convicted rapist with a long criminal history.
Commissioner Sini says the arrest sends a strong message to the county's drug dealers.
"If you're selling drugs in Suffolk County, we will be coming for you," he says.
In an unrelated case, investigators also arrested Sound Beach resident Kenneth Pelligrino Wednesday morning. They say they seized 110 grams of heroin, as well as cocaine and fireworks, from his home.
