Police are investigating after vandals destroyed an 4-foot tall outdoor Hanukkah menorah overnight on Monday in Plainview.

Police say the 76-year-old man's menorah on Gerhard Street was taken off his front lawn and smashed in the street.

Investigators say it is too early to rule the incident a bias crime.
