Police say a Plainview man involved in a Uniondale car crash last month has died.

They say officers had to pull 35-year-old Alex Jose Bangeas Figueroa out of an SUV that had flipped over on Feb. 25. The vehicle struck a pole on Jerusalem Avenue near Liberty Street.
He was initially taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police said another occupant in the vehicle, a 45-year-old man, was also hospitalized.
