Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Central Islip.
The incident happened on Connetquot Avenue just before 7 p.m. Sunday.
Police are confirming that the pedestrian and a motor vehicle were involved.
A source at the scene says a pickup truck hit the victim.
