Teen motorcyclist seriously injured in Miller Place crash

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a U-Haul truck Friday afternoon in Glen Cove, according to police.

Police say the 69-year-old woman was walking at the intersection of Pratt Boulevard and Pulaski Street just after 2 p.m. when she was struck.

The woman's identity has not yet been released, and no charges have been filed against the driver.
