Police offer reward to find 2 people who destroyed ATM in New Hyde Park burglary

Nassau police are now offering reward money if you can help identify two people wanted for a burglary in New Hyde Park.

As News 12 reported, the males unlawfully entered a building on Marcus Avenue around 5 p.m. on March 28, according to police.

Once inside, they destroyed an ATM, broke windows and ceiling tiles, and used a fire extinguisher before fleeing.

The males could be seen in surveillance photos disguised with full-face bike helmets and carrying shovels.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
