Police offer cash reward to find driver in fatal Ronkonkoma hit-and-run

Suffolk Police are now offering a fast cash reward to help find the driver who killed a pedestrian in Ronkonkoma back in December.
As News 12 has reported, detectives say the driver hit 61-year-old Robert Twiford on the off-ramp of the eastbound Long Island Expressway at Exit 60 and then took off.
Shortly after, the driver stopped on Garrity Avenue, got out of the car and checked for damage.
Police say the vehicle involved was likely a light colored 2015 to 2018 Ford Focus
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is now offering a fast cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-220-TIPS.
