Police: Hempstead woman arrested for DWI with 3-year-old daughter inside vehicle
yesterdayAn Oceanside man was arrested Monday for allegedly breaking into a Lakeview gas station.
Police say John Masone attempted to walk into an Exxon on Hempstead Avenue at around 2:40 a.m.
When an employee inside the station told Masone they were closed, the 51-year-old is accused of breaking the front door and walking in.
Police say a fight broke out and the employee suffered minor injuries.
