Police say they had to wrangle a naked man to the ground after he became violent in New Hyde Park Sunday night.

Authorities say 29-year-old Varinder Singh was nude when he punched a woman while standing on Jericho Turnpike right outside of Umberto's.

According to police, two officers tackled Singh to the ground to stop him from running into traffic.

He and those officers were all hospitalized. The victim refused medical attention.

Police say Singh will face a judge on multiple counts of assault when medically able.
