Students at Lindenhurst Middle School had their backpacks searched Monday after a threat was made against the school last week.
Officials would not say what the threat was, only that it referenced today's date.
The building was locked down all weekend, and lockers were searched and sealed.
Bags were searched as students arrived to school. Police say nothing dangerous was found.
