A New Jersey man was arrested for posing as a police officer on Long Island.

Police say Joseph Zuziela was arrested last week in Oceanside.

They found a fake police uniform, a metal baton, ammunition, gun parts and a badge inside his car.

Zuziela is wanted in New Jersey for an unspecified crime.

Police are asking anyone who thinks they may have been contacted by Zuziela to call 911.
