A Riverhead woman is accused of leaving her 4-year-old daughter unattended in their apartment for hours.
Police say 26-year-old Amanda Burris went out for the night Friday.
The young girl was found wandering around their East Main Street apartment complex by herself.
Burris was arrested Saturday morning. Officials say her daughter was released to a family member.
