Two Long Island brothers are facing charges after police say they stole thousands of dollars worth of first aid equipment from Rikers Island.
Prosecutors say Michael Diaz, a corrections officer at the prison, and his brother Joseph, took external defibrillators and auctioned them off on eBay.
Officials say the thefts took place over a two-year period.
The brothers are due back in court June 17.
