Authorities say the 2024 Kia was driving on the westbound lanes at around 10:30 p.m. when it hit the man walking in the roadway.
The victim was hospitalized, and their condition remains unknown. Their name has not been released.
Authorities urge anyone with information about the crash to call 631-852-8752.
