Police say they've tied a Manhasset man to burglaries in Nassau.
They say Michael Demedina, 59, is accused of entering a Plandome Heights home Saturday and stealing a wallet.
Police say when the homeowner showed up, he found Demedina inside.
They say during the investigation, they linked Demedina to a burglary and grand larceny in Manhasset from earlier this month and another grand larceny in North Hills last month.
