A Hampton Bays man is accused of pulling over cars with a loaded shotgun and pointing the gun at police.
Police received calls yesterday about shots fired at homes and animals, and a man pulling over drivers on Pinewood Lane.
Police say Jonathan Mulvey-Fava, 21, turned the gun on them on a beach down the road on Corwin Lane.
After Mulvey-Fava refused to drop the gun and a brief struggle, police used a stun gun to subdue him.
Mulvey-Fava was charged with menacing a police officer, criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest.
