Police: Man shot through vehicle in Shirley, sustains minor injuries

The 21-year-old man was driving a GMC pickup when a man known to the victim driving another vehicle shot him through the door, according to authorities.

Police say a man was injured following a shooting that unfolded in Shirley Wednesday afternoon.
The 21-year-old man was driving a GMC pickup when a man known to the victim driving another vehicle shot him through the door, according to authorities.
The incident occurred southbound on the William Floyd Parkway at Surrey Circle just after 3 p.m.
Police say the victim was transported to a local hospital with a minor injury to his left leg. 
No information was released in relation to the suspect and if any arrests were made.
