14h agoA Queens man is under arrest for allegedly recording a woman during a tanning session at a Long Island gym.
Police say it happened around 6 p.m. Saturday, when the 20-year-old woman went into a tanning room at the Planet Fitness in Great Neck.
Detectives say that’s when she noticed what seemed to be a cellphone in the ceiling’s panels.
The woman immediately called 911.
Following an investigation, Demetrius Sumter, 27, was charged with unlawful surveillance.
