Police are searching for a man they say burglarized a business early Wednesday in North Lawrence.

Detectives say officers were on patrol when they saw a broken door at Burnside Meat Market on Burnside Avenue.

Following an investigation, they say a man had kicked in the front door and removed multiple cash registers from the business.

A total of $500 was also missing.
