Police say a man was injured in a shooting early this morning in Islip Terrace.
Police say a 38-year-old Bay Shore man was shot in the abdomen at around 12:15 a.m. following an altercation at a gas station located on Irving Place.
The victim was taken to Southside Hospital and is expected to survive.
There is no word on any possible arrests or suspects. Police have not released the victim's identity.
