Police: Man flashed gun, demanded cash from teller at Valley Stream bank

Nassau police are searching for a man they say robbed a Valley Stream bank Friday night.

Nassau police say they are searching for a man who robbed a Valley Stream bank Friday evening. 
It happened around 7 p.m. at the TD Bank on West Merrick Road.
Police say the man was wearing a red mask and a dark, hooded jacket when he walked into the bank, flashed a gun and demanded cash from a teller.
The teller handed the suspect the money and police say the suspect took off on foot.
Three customers were in the bank at the time, in addition to seven employees.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
