Police arrested a man who they say fatally stabbed his grandmother Saturday morning in Amityville.
Dwight Clermont, 28, is accused of killing Miraccia Leopold, 81, around 7:30 a.m. inside her home on Watkins Terrace.
According to police, a 911 caller reported the stabbing.
Clermont was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
Clermont previously faced a judge in April after he was arrested for exposing himself to two women inside a store at the Roosevelt Field Mall.
He will be arraigned on the new charges on Sunday.
