A convicted drunken driver from West Babylon is facing another DWI charge, and police say this time he took his 1-year-old son along for the ride.
Detectives say 48-year-old Salvatore Vassallo got into a fight with his wife at around 5:30 p.m. As he drove away, he allegedly ran over his wife's foot.
He was arrested a short time later on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst.
The woman suffered minor injuries, and the child wasn't hurt.
