Police: Man dies following motorized scooter crash in Smithtown
News 12 is told that 29-year-old Ryan Clancy was riding the electric scooter down Route 25A near Willow Ridge Drive when he lost control and struck the curb.

Police say a Kings Park man has died following a motorized scooter crash in Smithtown.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. Monday.
News 12 is told that 29-year-old Ryan Clancy was riding the electric scooter down Route 25A near Willow Ridge Drive when he lost control and struck the curb.
Police say he then fell off and hit his head on the pavement.
Clancy died at the hospital.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call police.
