2h agoA man attempted to steal a car from the American Car Wash in Flower Hill early Wednesday, police say.
It happened on Northern Boulevard, but the suspect didn't make it a mile.
Police say the keys were not in the car, which then switched off.
The suspect fled in another vehicle.
Police have warned drivers to be vigilant following two similar incidents at car washes in Great Neck and Oceanside.
