Police have made an arrest in connection to a house fire in Hempstead.
As News 12 reported, fire ripped through a vacant house on Jerusalem Avenue in Hempstead Wednesday.
Police say 29-year-old Bernadino Jocon is responsible for starting it.
Officers say he also started a fire in a nearby parking lot, which burned close to a car.
The suspect is facing multiple charges and will be in court today.
